15 min snippet from Tim Pool’s “Timcast IRL,” on which I appeared on Thurs. The very fact that Wikipedia runs a system in which anonymous jerks can libel 1000s of people without any recourse opens them up to a class action suit.

For the left, the only morally outrageous, dangerous riot was the one directed at its center of power.
Other riots are OK. Even urban centers in deep blue states can righteously burn. It’s for a good cause, you know.

Twitter’s having a login problem? Tsk, tsk…I’ll just have to use my own microposting website, StartThis.org. Let me know if you can see this! Reply on StartThis, because I can’t get into Twitter.
Jane Eyre, 1943, with Orson Welles as Rochester and Joan Fontaine as Jane, screenplay by Aldous Huxley, directed by Robert Stevenson (a good un I think). Free right here>
If you cast negative judgments just because a person is white and male, I wonder what damning judgments you’re secretly willing to make because someone is black and female.
If you’re racist in one case, why not in others?
Maybe it’s time to move to Florida.
The more that the media and academic “elite” systematically deceive us and whip up racial tensions, the more I sympathize with the plight of the poor, and the more likely I am to look on them as my brothers and sisters—and the “elite” as enemy.
Never ever ever use Binance. If your experience is like mine and that of a bunch of other people, they’ll make your coins inaccessible for weeks or months at a time, without warning and without explanation.
I just got back the mastered files for the audiobook version of *Essays on Free Knowledge*. You should be able to download and listen to it soon.
“This is the fifth time the court has summarily rejected the Ninth Circuit’s analysis of California’s COVID restrictions on religious exercise.”
The U.K., once a bastion of the free West, is quickly and easily caving in to literally totalitarian measures, such as requiring people to show a mandatory cell phone tracking app screen before being allowed into a pub. Read >

In a lawsuit, the state of Pennsylvania was forced to remove 21,000 dead voters from voter rolls.
Because the state had to be forced, of course.
The older I get, the more persuaded I am of the insidious danger of naïveté, which allows evil to thrive unchecked.
Interestingly, though, we can do something about this.
Whoever designed the type of ad with fake “dismiss” buttons, which take you to a product page instead—they’re going to hell…

Sign of the times:
Two, arguably three, out of 17 “spirituality” periodicals for sale at the local (Pickerington, Ohio—a Republican majority) Barnes & Noble are Christian. There are well over 100 churches nearby.
Happy Easter anyway!
The irrepressible old liberal Pat Condell has finally produced a new video, this time in defense of free speech. He’s right, of course.

VDH (in the Epoch Times?!) has a list of “ten radical rules” that are changing America. Most listicles are insipid, but not this one. m.theepochtimes.com/mkt…
For those defamed by Wikipedia, the system represents a catch-22. If you think of suing the WMF, they will cite CDA section 230: the volunteers are responsible. If you sue a volunteer, you’ll find it does no good; the system is responsible.
Foucault the pedophile. Hated the prerogatives of the powerful.
Reminds me of Allen Ginsberg.
Y’know, I’m thinking that an appropriate response to people bragging about how much they made in #crypto would be, “Consider donating some of the proceeds to the KSF!”
😀
My 10-year-old’s new hobby is…trading #crypto.
Seems he made $130 over the course of a year from passive @Brave ads. I let him transfer $50 to an account which he has been investing, and has so far made $14 more from trading, after trading fees.
We could use a constitutional amendment permanently banning social credit scores.
If the education and media Establishment really cared about and wanted to encourage ethnic harmony, beyond mere tolerance, they’d behave very differently. There would be more positive portrayals of friendship and less anti-white bigotry.
Just as the education and media Establishment have relentlessly encouraged (in the name of anti-racism) hatred between whites&blacks, and whites&Muslims, I fear we’re about to see a massive push to foment anti-Chinese sentiment. Resist!
Isn’t it interesting how the meaning of “anti-vaxxer” is morphing from “someone opposed to all vaccination on principle” to “someone opposed to forced COVID-19 vaccination”?
We’re supposed to take seriously this absurd claim that evangelical Christians and Catholics are “religious extremists.”
Know what I find extreme? Locking down and masking healthy people for months at a time.
